663 Games invites everyone to watch the first ever developer walkthrough for Realm of Ink. This announcement follows the successful release of the playable demo on Steam.
The walkthrough runs for 13 minutes with Leap Studio and Maple Leaf Studio taking everyone on a journey. In particular, the studio gives a preview of the Scarlet Sword, which is one of the weapon schools in the game, using the Twin Domain strategy. A fast and versatile weapon, the Scarlet Sword can release both light and heavy attacks. The heavy attack is a round slash around the character which deals a huge amount of damage to enemies. Meanwhile, the light attack features a triple strike to the front and deal low damage. The heavy attack can deal extra damage by charging it up and the charge-up speed can be increased if a light attack is performed first.
In the developer video, the path taken revolves on two selected Ink Gems. The first is the Venom Ink which can lay down a magical circle and deal DOT while also applying the "Poison" debuff to enemies. The second is Quake Ink which lays down a magical circle and deals DOT while applying shields to the character. What this shows is that the effects of magical circles are enhanced based on the perks selected.

An Endless Cycle
In Realm of Ink, you start your adventure as the swordsman Red and unlock additional characters as you progress. By making use of the immortal power of the fox, you get to fight against four unique bosses, each one having unique backgrounds. As you face challenges and hurdle obstacles, you get to redefine your "destiny" through the constant cycle of rebirth and wield your sword with resilience.
Cool Customization
In the game, you get to choose from three playable characters which are the Unparalleled Swordswoman Red, Nightmare Hunter Wang Ding, and Fox Judge Ning Ye. After that you then equip yourself from a selection of nine powerful weapons which include Scarlet Sword, Shadow Twin Blades, and Azure Aura Blade. Once you're done with that it's time to improve abilities from more than unique Ink Gems like Tiger Ink, Venom Ink, Curse Ink, Burning Ink, Kylin Ink, and Dragon Ink. Don't forget to take note of a wide range of at least 120 Artifacts, such as the Shadow Kite, Octagram Dart, Lock Charms, Dreadful Bell, Lamp of Seven Stars, and Doom Gauge.
