Developer Nowsky announced that Trail of Ayash is finally out of early access and version 1.0 is now available. The game takes players to an exciting and innovative world that's focused on the indigenous people and their struggles. It's a world that offers a unique version of the lands that's dominated by the myths and legends of its inhabitants.
In celebration of the release, studio is offering the game at 40% until October 1. This should be good news for those excited for the game. However, those not yet sure can check it out through the free demo that's available on Steam.
What can players look forward to in this version? The studio revealed in a post that they've remade all the levels while also improving the storyline. A lot of new content has been added like new quests, new locations, and even new items, to name a few. While updates are planned to be released every now and then, the studio shared that they're at a point in the development process that they're happy with what they've created.
Considering the scale of the game, there's going to be a few bugs. While they've already managed to fix thousands of them, there is the possibility that the studio won't be able to accomplish what has been originally planned.
The studio went on to say that one of their challenges is how to balance what they want for the game with the resources they have at hand. To that end, the studio assured everyone that they won't be releasing DLCs or sequels until the game is polished to the point that they are satisfied with it.
The game tells the story of Ayash, once a respected member of his tribe until the war changed everything. Now alone and without aid, he must redeem himself amidst the intrigue of tribal society and the monsters that are lurking in the wilderness. He can also avenge himself on those who abandoned him. With an open-ended story, it’s up to players who gets to live and who gets to pay.
