The spooky season arrives early in Borderlands 4. Get ready to face the Horrors of Kairos as world boss encounters change the weather to a terror-inducing blood rain. This is the first free and limited-time Seasonal Mini-Event of the game. It starts October 23 and runs until November 6.

Those able to survive and win against the new world boss can look forward to getting their hands on Legendary loot. There's the "Murmur" Legendary Tediore Assault Rifle which can destroy weakened enemies with guaranteed crits on targets under 35% health. Players can also get the "Skully" Legendary Order Grenade, a death-dealing grenade which fires out projectiles as it seeks out the nearest target.

That 's not all. There are SHiFT code treats being released during the event. The "Gourd Your Loins" Vault Hunter (pumpkin) Head for example is usable by Vex, Rafa, Amon, and Harlowe. The "Hex Appeal" Weapon Skin is another treat and what makes this good is that it can be equipped to any weapon.

This event is part of the new content being planned for the game. See what's being planned for the game through the post-launch roadmap.
