The Iron Rig is Now Available in DREDGE

Update 1.5.1 for DREDGE is finally here. The highlight is the addition of the new DLC which is titled The Iron Rig. Of course, it also has the usual fixes and tweaks.

The Iron Rig is the game's second official expansion. There's a lot of new content added like the new constructable destination which has its own story. Other new content include:

2-5 hours of content playable at any time in your playthrough.

Craft a new tier of equipment with 8 new pieces of gear.

Catch more than 50 new fish.

Advance to a new tier of boat hull, bigger and better than before.

Research enhanced versions of some abilities.

Earn 12 new achievements.

Other New Features

Aside from the new DLC, there are also a lot of new things introduced to the game. These include:

Some new apparitions that can rarely be seen through the fog.

The ability to select which Crab Pot & Bait type is being deployed.

A custom background when using a late-game ability to harvest fish.

A custom background to most shore caches.

A new shipwreck to Stellar Basin

Polish language.

Players can also look forward to seeing new themes for the title screen. To unlock these, players need to own the DLC. Meanwhile, the “Complete Edition” theme needs The Pale Reach, The Iron Rig, and Blackstone Key DLCs. Check out the changes in the new update here.
