The Legacy of Crassus Arrives to the New World

A new event is now live in New World and everyone is challenged to try and defeat the monstrous captains General Crassus. Bound by blood and battle, the brothers Lucanus and Decimus have been transformed to stone as a result of the Curse of Medusa. However, the Corruption has warped them to become mythic monsters who plan on doing whatever they can to fulfill the final command given to them. The Legacy of Crassus runs from January 10 through January 23.

During the event, players need to win against these vicious level 70 brutes and earn event-specific items that include Cyclops Statuettes, the 19th Legion Pickaxe, Lucanus weapons, and Decimus armor. To get these rewards, players need to deal at least 1000 damage.

Daily Rewards

Players get to earn a special cache which contains containing one of these event-specific pieces of loot once they defeating the world bosses. for a maximum of 3 bonus rewards daily. Players are also guaranteed to obtain every reward after defeating them 8 times. The rewards are:

  • Cyclops Lucanus Statuette - Housing Item
  • Cyclops Decimus Statuette - Housing Item
  • 19th Legion Pickaxe - Pickaxe
  • Wrath of Decimus - Great Axe
  • Hoplites Great Blade - Great Sword
  • Sagittar of Lucanus - Bow
  • Vesuvius - Fire Staff
  • Galea of Lucanus - Medium Helm
  • Cuirass of Decimus - Heavy Chest Armor
  • Fists of Decimus - Heavy Gauntlets
  • Braccae of Lucanus - Medium Legwear
  • Hobnailed Boots of Lucanus - Medium Boots
  • Players also get 1 Obsidian Gypsum and 15 Dark Matter

Standard Rewards

Players can also get one of these rewards every time they defeat Lucanus and Decimus. However, compared to the daily bonus rewards players can beat the world boss multiple times in one day for those extra rewards. For each win players can either get a random weapon or armor piece at their level (90% chance) or a special Named item from Brimstone Sands or greater Aeternum (10% chance). They can also get some level-appropriate consumables like health and mana, to name a few.
