The New Region in Where Winds Meet Introduces Three New Bosses

Each open-world boss fuses local arts with battle techniques.

A new update is arriving in Where Winds Meet. The highlight is the introduction of a new region known as Qingzhou. This same region brings with it three unique open-world bosses. Each one fuses local arts with battle techniques.

One of the new bosses that Wanderers encounter is the Tidewatcher. This one walks on bamboo stilts and strikes with operatic music and flower-spear skills. Meanwhile, the Old Raftsman is someone who guides timber rafts along river currents with a resilient staff style. Finally, there’s Zhu Yinghan. This Dragonfall Camp leader is one who settles disputes through high-speed shuttlecock kicking skills.

The Ribbon Drum

While facing three new bosses may be a challenge, there's a bit of good news. Get ready to try out the Ribbon Drum, a soft weaponry with rhythmic power. This new weapon type features martial arts and combines it with theatrical rhythm along with classical court dance. The weapon turns flowing ribbons, spinning steps, and drumbeats into a powerful support style. Though it may be soft, the ribbons strike, bind, and apply Knockback and Silence controls to foes. Meanwhile, the rhythmic drumming grants essential combat buffs to teammates.

Qingzhou opens up to players on October 15 and also introduces a new sect that has interesting mechanics. Learn more about it here.
