The New Season of For Honor to an Introduce an Otherworldly Experience

The new season of For Honor is all set to begin on September 14. Year 7 Season 3 of the game is titled as Deceit and sees the atmosphere get rather otherworldly. The story begins with the Ghost Festival, which is a Wu Lin celebration where they honor the dead through offerings and performances. However, it seems that the Wu Lin nobles invited warriors who disregarded the warnings given by the host and stole the forbidden food offerings that was for the departed. As a result, a mysterious illness has started to take hold.

New Event Pass

From September 14 to October 5, players can look forward to a new Event Pass known as Ghost Rites. In addition, once the new season goes live, there's also going to be a new Battle Pass and even new Battle Bundle, to name a few. The new Battle Bundle gives players access to 100 tiers of rewards along with the next 25 tiers being unlocked. The Battle Pass meanwhile comes with new battle outfits, new ornaments, and more which showcase the Ghost Festival theme.

Players can also join the Ghost Festival event from September 14 to October 5. Here they have a chance to earn a mood effect, Battle Outfit, ornament, and season-themed weapons.

Hero Fests

This season also features Hero Fests. This is an event where players get to try the heroes Kensei, Shugoki, and Warden, free for a week. They can also buy these Heroes, which are going to be offered at a discount during their respective Hero Fest. There's also a unique execution released at the start of each Hero Fest.

By the way, the Shugoki Hero Fest is happening at the same time as the Throwback Event: Visions of the Kyoshin, which is from October 12-19.

Testing Ground

The new season also brings back to the game the Testing Grounds, which focuses on the Highlander Hero. Beginning September 14, the Reflex Guard is removed from all assassin Heroes. This is to offer a more user-friendly combat system where all Assassins Heroes and one Hybrid Hero (Shaolin) are equipped with Static Guard. Heroes affected by this change include Peacekeeper, Gladiator, Orochi, Shinobi, Shaman, Berserker, Nuxia, and Shaolin.
