Developer Games Farm announced that the latest content update for Jötunnslayer: Hordes of Hel has arrived. It introduces players to the harsh realm of Jötunheim and having a goddess on their side. The update is now available on Steam and Epic Games Store.
The new update invites Jötunnslayers to explore Jötunheim. This is a primordial tundra landscape that's dominated by towering basalt columns and magical bridges which connect treacherous plateaus. The truly hostile realm challenges players with environmental hazards that include fierce winds and storms. At the same time, players also have to face not only ancient giant civilisations but even swarms of colossal insects. There are also new challenges awaiting in the form of venomous elementals, insect invasions, and enhanced Nithstangs. Let's not forget the new boss Stormjotun/
Then there's the signature Curse. This time it's all about the storm that seems to be focusing on the area. There are thunderstorms with a chance of strong winds.
A New Goddess
Jötunheim may seem to be a challenge. However, there's good news since the new update also adds none other than the Mistress of ice and precision to the Pantheon. That's right! Skadi has joined the game. Skadi has a particular knack when it comes to ice, frost, and everything frozen. Her arrival also means the introduction of the Seal mechanic. With this, players can lock a skill in place through their level-ups for the moments where they certainly can’t have it both ways. Talking about skills, Skadi's is all about cold and ice.
