The Next Update for Honkai Impact 3rd Comes Out this Thursday

The next update for Honkai Impact 3rd is releasing on February 20. Once the v8.1 update goes live, players can look forward to fighting with Kiana's battlesuit. Then there's also the new events, new outfits, and of course, the new rewards.

The upcoming update sees the debut of Kiana's battlesuit. This SD-type battlesuit is the Ba-Dum! Fiery Wishing Star. On the battlefield, Kiana wields a long staff that can sweep enemies and deal Fire DMG. Each hit of her four-sequence attack accumulates KE and the fourth hit inflicts Passion Marks on enemies to deal AOE DMG. Her recommended weapon and PRI-ARM are also available. Equip either on her to stack one extra Passion Mark on the sole enemy on the field. In addition, the recommended stigmata of Kiana shows scenes of her celebrating with her friends and family over the years.

Meanwhile, for the story interlude, players can learn more about Leylah. Those who play the interlude story and activities can obtain rewards like Crystals and Source Prisms, to name a few. Anyway, what happens is that after the Spring Festival dream crisis in v8.0, Kiana has returned to the real world with Rice Cake while also receiving a new mission from Theresa too. Players can go to the festive celebrations at the Moon Base.

During the event, Kiana gives everyone a fun board. Once the fun board has been activated, players can buy Yearly Chibis to build their team. Those who play the event can obtain shop tokens and then use them to exchange for Crystals, Coralie's new outfit, and other fantastic rewards. By the way, Coralie isn't the only one with a new look since Luna and Vita are also getting new outfits. Luna's new outfit can be obtained from spend bonuses while Vita's outfit is available in Outfit Supply.
