The Marquis of Terror Baalphazu is bringing his horde of ghoulish Pumpkinites with Nightveil Hallow. It begins in New World: Aeternum today, October 22, and run until November 5.
To start things off, players need to put on costumes. That's right! They get to transform into some of their favorite characters which include Captain Thorpe, Adiana, Anubian Reaver, and Lost Monarch. These costumes can be obtained from the town centerpieces and Baalphazu for the duration of the event.
One they're in costume, players can then head out for some Trick-or-Treat. They'll need to look in each town for hidden Treat Baskets. These baskets has a 10% chance to contain the Baalphazu armor pieces. It's also going to have 2 Nightveil Tokens and a unique item which is candy. The candy in particular is a limited-time consumable that comes in 4 flavors.
By the way, items that are marked with daily limit resets at 5:00 A.M., local time. For example, if players grab their third set of Nightveil Tokens from Treat Baskets at 4:58 A.M., they can earn another at 5:01 A.M.
Fight Baalphazu and Earn Rewards
During this event, players need to face against none other than Baalphazu. Defeating the Level 66 world boss let players obtain items like armor pieces, costumes, and Ichor.
Once players get Ichor, they'll need to look for Salvatore the Mad at any Cauldron throughout the towns of Aeternum. Bringing him Ichor shows that they did beat Baalphazu and finished the Nightveil Hallow questline. Once this is done, they get the Nightveil Hallow Cache which contains five (5) Nightveil Tokens; two (2) Random Nightveil Hallow weapon patterns, and access to the Nightveil Sentinel section of the Event Shop.
It doesn’t end there. Players can continue to collect additional Ichor from Baalphazu and get additional rewards. Salvatore is going to give them one Nightveil Cauldron Cache in exchange for each Ichor. Each cache contains multiple Nightveil Tokens along with:
- 7-13 Nightveil Tokens
- 1 Random Nightveil Hallow weapon pattern
- Coin Bag (3 times daily)
- 1 White Gypsum
Event Shop
