Digital Extremes announced that the next narrative chapter for Warframe is launching December 10. It's titled as "The Old Peace" and set to a new game mode known as The Perita Rebellion.
In The Perita Rebellion, players need to survive for 12 minutes on the Perita battlefield as they complete different challenges and in return earn temporary upgrades. They can choose from one of the five Focus Schools before the start of the mission and power up devastating Tauron Strikes before the final encounter.
There are three brutal bosses available for players to take on and defeating one results in obtaining exclusive rewards.
In a statement, Community Director Megan Everett revealed that it's always important to "shake things up" especially for a game that was released more than 12 years ago. She added that this has been the main goal with the most recent additions. Everett went on to say that the two new game modes introduced to the game have been developed from the ground up.
Time-Limited Operation
Players can return to the battlefield and obtain Marks of Valiance from The Perita Rebellion and other Alert mission completions. They can then take this newfound spoils to Roathe of The Devil’s Triad in exchange for time-limited rewards. These include the new evolving Loiaus Chest Armor cosmetic and an exclusive Honoria (Player Title). The new Operation is accessible to players who have completed The Old Peace Quest and available from December 16 to January 6.
Warframe was launched in 2013 and since then has become a multi-generational game having more than 80 million registered players across various platforms. In the game, players get to be part of an ancient class of warriors known as the Tenno as they fight their way across an ever-expanding universe of over 18 planets and more than 55 Warframes, with four open worlds to discover.
