The upcoming DLC for Gunfire Reborn is all set to be released this September 12. Realm of Frost and Inkwash introduces a lot of new content that's sure to make the gameplay even more exciting.
For starters, there's going to be two new heroes added to the game. The first is Lyn, who's been blessed by ice and snow. Lyn has the ability to strike the flaw of the enemy and then freeze that same enemy to give them a freezing burial. The second is Momo, who's able to use inkwash to not only block the threats but also repel the targets. Momo can also transform into an inkwash-spirit and then dart within the enemy.
Equip New Weapons
Added as well through the new DLC are four new weapons. One of these is the Phoenix Roar which can condense the spiritual aura of the Phoenix to expand the domain and then coordinate attacks using the hero's skills. Starfly meanwhile allows you to harness the power of the Big Dipper as you engage in battle with the spiritual partner. This weapon shoots a barrage of bullets at the enemies.
The Tracker meanwhile is supplemented by a multi-directional engine and this allows it to locks onto and pursues the enemies. It results in enemies having nowhere to hide. Finally it's the Tempest which activates the high-tech mask to tag all enemies within range and then inflict a stormy blow.
Start a New Adventure
Gunfire Reborn is an adventure level-based game that features elements of FPS, roguelite, and even RPG. Players go on an adventure across procedurally generated levels where they then get to pick up randomly dropped weapons. They get to control unique heroes, each one having different abilities. There’s Ao Bai for example whose Dual-Wield gives him the ability to fire both his weapons at once. Lewi Luo on the other hand has Fatal Current which has him obtain different bonuses like getting extra movement speed. These are just some of the heroes available in the roster.
In the game, each level is random with each new restart offering a new experience. That means players get to different heroes and even experience new weapons, new items, and new checkpoints, to name a few.
