Digital Extremes announced that the next update for Warframe is coming out in March 2026. Dubbed as "The Shadowgrapher," it won't be an addendum to Echoes but instead serve as its own standalone release.
The highlight of the upcoming update is the debut of the game's 64th Warframe. Known as Follie, she's inspired by a curious combination of painting and inkblots. However, that's all we know as the studio revealed in a post that for now they're "keeping her specifics under wraps."
New Game Mode
A new game mode is also being added to the game. This team-based game mode has players squad up with fellow Tenno and complete objectives while they're being tracked and pursued by an overpowering enemy. It can be accessed through the ruined Vesper Relay on the Star Chart near Venus.
Gauss and Grendel Deluxe
Players should be happy to know that their favorite unlikely Warframe duo is set to reunite once again. Making things even more exciting is that they'll be in ultra-stylized and mecha-like Deluxe Skins. Check out the new aesthetic for Gauss here and Grendel here.
Warframe was launched in 2013 and since then has become a multi-generational game having more than 80 million registered players across various platforms. In the game, players get to be part of an ancient class of warriors known as the Tenno as they fight their way across an ever-expanding universe of over 18 planets and more than 55 Warframes, with four open worlds to discover.
One of the unique features of the game is the Warframe, which is a bio-metal suit that’s been imbued with extraordinary power. It comes with a wide range of damaging weaponry at their disposal that they can use to cut down throngs of adversaries. The game offers more than 40 different Warframes to unlock, each possessing unique abilities, suitably providing a fresh gaming experience each time.
Warframe encourages creativity with an array of customizable options for weaponry, vehicles, companions, and more. Players can fashion their unique loadout for a more personalized gaming experience. With countless customization options, designing the perfect look for their Warframe presents a rewarding challenge for players. Get the Warframe for the PC via Steam.
