The Siege of Sulfur Event Returns to New World: Aeternum

Amazon Games announced the return of the Siege of Sulfur event to New World: Aeternum. It's taking place from February 4 and all the way to February 24. In this event, players get the chance to defend precious Sandwurm eggs from waves of Sulfur Elementals in a thrilling challenge where teamwork and strategy are crucial.

The event sees Dunewalker Mage carts breaking down as they're transporting sandwurm eggs to a secure location. While each Mage has managed to create a shield to protect their precious cargo, it doesn't stop the inevitable onslaught. That means they'll need all the help they can get.

To be part of the event, it is recommended that players should be at least level 60. They then need to team up with 10 or more players and defend sandwurm eggs from waves of Sulfur Elementals. Players have to try and survive against increasingly difficult waves of Sulfur Elementals, which include the Remnant of the Unmaker. Clearing out every enemy result in earning rewards. There is no daily limit for standard rewards, unless otherwise noted.

Rewards Available

Those able to successfully defend one egg get to receive:

• One GS700 procedural weapon or armor piece

• Some level-appropriate consumables

• A chance at some random loot, including refining resources, perk items, rare resources, or crafting schematics

• A 50% chance to earn 1 Obsidian Gypsum (standard 3x loot limit)

Meanwhile, saving two eggs result in these rewards:

• 1-2 GS700 procedural weapons or armor pieces

• Some level-appropriate consumables

• A chance at some random loot, including refining resources, perk items, rare resources, or crafting schematics

• a 80% chance to earn 1 Obsidian Gypsum (standard 3x loot limit)

Finally, defending three eggs means a perfect run. Rewards are:

• Two GS700 procedural weapons or armor pieces

• Some level-appropriate consumables

• A chance at some random loot, including refining resources, perk items, rare resources, or crafting schematics

• Guaranteed 1 Obsidian Gypsum (standard 3x loot limit)
