The Third Edict Race Event in Path of Exile 2 Begins October

It was back in August when the Third Edict went live in Path of Exile 2. By this time, it's safe to say that a lot of players have settled with the changes that arrived. That means it's time to begin the races.

The Third Edict Race Event is open to versions on the PC and console and offers a shared prize pool. In the set of events available this season, players compete to be the first one to kill Tavakai in Act 4 in a Solo Self-Found Rise of the Abyssal fixed layout environment. Though this isn't a Hardcore Event, players still incur a penalty upon death. The penalty is that they won't be able to move until a two and a half minute period has lapsed.

Race Rules

The races are free to participate in and anyone is welcome to join. Streaming the POV won’t be mandatory for this event. There are no limitations to how many races players can join. This means it’s possible to win multiple prizes.

Race Schedule

The event times and dates are:

Race 1: October 5 at 12:00 p.m. (PDT)

Race 2: October 12 at 12:00 p.m. (PDT)

Race 3: October 19 at 12:00 p.m. (PDT)

Race Prizes

When it comes to prizes, the Demigod's Virtue Unique item are for grabs for the top placement of each class:

• Ranger

• Sorceress

• Witch

• Monk

• Warrior

• Mercenary

• Huntress
