It took a while but the first major DLC for EVERSPACE 2 is finally here. Titled as "Titans," it introduces two new storylines to the game. There's also new items sets, legendaries, and consumables, to name a few. The new DLC is now available for the PC via Steam and GOG. It's also released for the PlayStation and Xbox consoles. It's being offered at $14.99.
The new DLC adds two new mid-game storylines to the star systems of Cluster 34. These adventures focus on the fearsome Dreadnought and the mysterious Leviathan.
In a statement, ROCKFISH Games CEO and co-founder Michael Schade revealed that this new DLC let pilots experience a little bit of what's going to come. He added that they're excited to "continue pushing the boundaries of possibility" in the game as they work on the next expansion.
The Leviathan
Players are likely familiar with the Leviathan considering that they've seen the bones of these ancient creatures not just planet-side but even in deep orbit. However, a rumor has come out that there may be a living leviathan out there and it appears that the Redeemers may have plans for these creatures. It's now up to players to fight new biological and mechanical enemies as they try to do what they can to save these gargantuan beasts.
With this, players should be happy to know that no two adventures within are going to be the same. As they explore the procedurally generated insides of the leviathan, they get to discover parasites, traps, puzzles, and new resources.
The Dreadnought
The scars of the Okkar-Colonial War continue to run deep in Cluster 34. The Dreadnought Minokawa has been hijacked while on the way for decommissioning. It's dangerous considering that this warship has the ability to turn the tides of power to whoever holds it.
Players need to track and defeat this titanic threat. However, they have to be prepared for what may be their biggest battles in the EVERSPACE series so far. There are gigantic and multi-stage boss fights that's sure to test the skills and ship loadout of the players while also pushing them to their limits.
