The Turkulon Returns to New World Starting November 15

In case you didn't know, a new season is arriving soon to New World. While waiting, should be happy to know that none other than Turkulon is returning. All players need to do is hunt this Feathered Avenger of Death along with his "fowl army" and in return obtain unique and event-specific items. In addition to having more desirable rewards, loot now drops more frequently. This event starts November 15 and runs through November 28.

The Legend

For those new to the game, the legend of Turkulon is something that's well known in Aeternum. Indeed, a lot of people have heard about the legends and accounts of this massive bird. However, there also those who don't have the same opinion and believe that it's nothing more than a story. Then again, the thought of a massively oversized turkey is indeed ridiculous.

The Man

There is however one individual who takes this legend seriously. Trateles blames this creature for his brother's death and because of this he's not ashamed to talk about Turkulon in the open even as he searchers for this beast. It also resulted in the village calling him as Turkules.

This hasn’t stopped him believing that once he finally puts an end to this beast, he’s going to become a hero of legend. He even has forged a weapon called the Grand Gobbler to defeat the beast.

The Rewards

For those joining this event, it's important to remember that regular turkeys and Turkulon reward players with different loot. Each regular turkey has a 20% chance of dropping one. Regular turkeys by the way, can be found scattered across the map. Players are likely spend more time skinning than fighting them.

To get more rewards, players can use the Turkulon’s Claw Skinning Knife to finish their food. Additional loot include:

Infused Turkey Coating (15% Drop Chance) - Daily Limit: 5 per day. Major damage boost against Turkulon. Minor damage boost against other beasts.This item will no longer be available after the event.

Infused Turkey Ward Potion (15% Drop Chance) Daily Limit: 5 per day. Major damage absorption from Turkulon’s attacks. Minor damage absorption from other beasts. This item will no longer be available after the event.

Turkey Luck Potion (15% Drop Chance) Increases the chance of receiving each Turkulon drop by 5% for 5 minutes. Daily Limit: 5 per day. This item will no longer be available after the event.
