The Wrath of the Ancients is Coming this Spring to EVERSPACE 2

ROCKFISH Games announced that a massive new expansion is releasing to EVERSPACE 2. In Wrath of the Ancients, new star systems are set to be added along with existing star systems expanded. The expansion is going to be available this spring for the PC through Steam and GOG along with consoles PlayStation and Xbox.

Once the new expansion goes live, players get the chance to pilot a new ship in the fight against alien enemies and ancient threats. There's also going to be a new story which is set after the events of the game. In this one, mysterious attacks have laid waste to human settlements in Cluster 34 and resulted in destabilizing factions in power while also stranding survivors. The destruction has resulted in an uneasy peace between humankind and Okkar. The expansion has space pilots venture head to the Okkar Homeworlds and learn more about the threat before war reignites the DMZ.

During the events of Wrath of the Ancients, warp gates are going to open to four new fully explorable star systems. These include Okkar homeworlds and Aethon, which adds even more secrets across Cluster 34. These new star systems are going to be packed with new enemies, weapons, and gear for everyone to discover.

Features of the Wrath of the Ancients expansion include:

• Adventure through an exciting post-game storyline expanding the EVERSPACE universe.

• Journey through several new major side quests exploring Okkar civilization and their homeworlds, accessible from midway through the main campaign.

• Take flight in the new flyable Wraith Okkar ship class.

• Meet an expanded cast of new and returning characters.

• Explore four new and expanded existing star systems including the Okkar homeworlds.

• Discover dozens of new locations filled with secrets and new puzzle types.

• Space out to an expanded soundtrack adding new exploration, travel, and battle music.

In a statement, ROCKFISH Games CEO and co-founder Michael Schade shared that the upcoming expansion massively expands the universe of the game as they give pilots more star systems to explore and with it more enemies to fight. He added that those who want to learn more about Cluster 34 are going to "have a lot to look forward to."
