Monster Hunter Wilds is officially launching on February 28. There have been some chances for players to try the game early. In fact, a second Open Beta Test has concluded over the weekend. For those who missed it and still want the chance to try, there's good news! That's because there's another round for the second Open Beta Test.

This one starts February 13 at 7:00 pm. (PT) and to end February 16 at 6:9 p.m. (PT).

While the second Open Beta Test does feature the same content as the first Open Beta Test, there are some additions to this version. In addition, any saved data from the previous Open Beta Test, including character creation data and more, can be carried over to the second Open Beta Test.

Second Open Beta Content

For this upcoming test, one of the features players can access is the Training Area. This is exclusively for solo play and is a good place to practice using all the different weapons on offer. In this area, players automatically revive if they faint and the amount of consumable items they hold won't decrease.

It's also possible to create private lobbies during the second Open Beta Test. These are only available to join via a lobby ID search. Private lobbies allow for a maximum of 16 players.

Players can also look forward to Online Single Player. This mode allows players to explore the wilds by themselves without joining a lobby.

Other Content Available

As mentioned, the content available in the first Open Beta Test is also offered in this upcoming test. Character creation is available with the full suite of features that are available in the full version. That's not all since players can also remake their character as many times as they like.

Another feature is the Story Trial where they can experience the opening cutscene and play through the Chatacabra hunt with basic tutorials. This should give players a feel for the weapon mechanics and experience the seamless transitions from cutscenes into gameplay. Then there's the Doshaguma Hunt where the goal is to defeat the alpha of the Doshaguma pack.
