There’s Still Time to Experience the New Battle Rule for Special League in Summoners War

A few weeks back, an update was introduced in Summoners War which launched a Special League with a new Battle Rule. In this Special League, World Arena rules remain the same though players are only matched with Summoners from their server. This special event started December 23 and ends January 5.

Those able to win battles or finish the Special League with a high grade get to earn Glory Tokens. These can then be used in the League Shop. The ranking criteria has been slightly relaxed to account for the server-based matchmaking. In particular, the rank for Guardian Grade has been made higher. The Victory Points needed for Fighter to Guardian Grades have been lowered. You can view the complete list of changes here.

Summonhenge Improvement

Still on the update that was released, there were also improvements mande on the Summonhenge. For starters, the summoning animation has been improved and now has different color effects so that it's easier to distinguish between 4★ and 5★ Monster summons. Players should also be happy to know that the summon animation for Summon 10 has been streamlined to allow for a smoother experience.

Another improvement is that during the sequence for Summon 10, if a 4★ or 5★ Monster is summoned, the effect for that star grade appears at the beginning of the sequence. In addition, a Skip button has been added to the result screen which should allow players to bypass the animations and view results instantly.

Finally, a new Summon 10 option using 680 Crystals has been added under Mystical Summon.

Other Improvements and Changes

Other changes introduced to the game are:

• [Artifact Management]: Sub property filters will now disable properties that are incompatible with certain Artifact types.

• [Siege Battle]: Monsters that cannot be used under specific conditions will now appear disabled in [Manage Monster Deck] under the battle preparation screen.
