It's important to ensure that the stories of your family are kept in the minds of a continent while you also strengthen the legitimacy of your rule. You can also look forward to getting access to new elite buildings which should cement that legacy for future generations.
By the way, it helps if poets and bards can ornament celebrations with songs and odes to your greatness. Hopefully this should inspire guests to spread stories of your legendary generosity.
New Legacies
This new expansion offers you two new legacies. There's the Heroic dynastic Legacy for the heirs of legendary characters where you can use the great deeds of ancestors to justify claims from the distant past. Then there's the Legitimacy Legacy which can promote your dynasty as the true rulers of the realm.
To spread the great accomplishments of your dynasty, you'll have to hire an official historian or make use of poets and musicians to turn those actions into art.
New Challenges
Exciting as this new expansion is, there are also challenges that come with it. For starters, new diseases like the Bloody Flux, Measles, and Holy Fire are going to ravage your court. Of course, you have the option to honor deceased loved ones with dignified Funeral rites, based on your faith.
You'll also need to watch out for the greatest scourge of the Middle Ages which is the Black Death. Since the plague can strike down both commoners and nobles, they're sure to transform both social and political environment. Make sure not just to prepare the realm but also your soul.
