The new season for Torchlight: Infinite is all set to begin December 28. Titled as Twinightmare, the highlight is the addition of its newest hero named Rosa. Of course, there's the usual limited-time event along with the quality-of-life improvements.
Rosa the High Court Chariot is the tenth playable hero to be added to the game. To unlock her, you'll need to have the Twinightmare Season Pass. She does make for a good investment considering her high defensive capabilities which means she can survive even the toughest of onslaughts. When she releases her Holy Domain Skill, she transforms into a chariot able to make a path across the hordes of enemies while also giving then a powerful course.
Welcome to the Twinightmare
For this new season, hunters get a chance to enter a Sweet Dream once they interact with the Dream Lotus on the map. After completing this Sweet Dream, they get to receive Dream Bubbles which contain rewards. To be able to explore the deeper floors of Sweet Dreams, they'll need to look for more lotuses. For each Sweet Dream floor is completed, Hunters inherit the rewards from the previous floor while also getting the chance to further upgrade or increase the rewards.
However, Hunters need to be vigilant because there's always the chance of enter a Nightmare, which increases with each floor of a Sweet Dream completed. Hunters though should be familiar with the Nightmares they encounter since they get the Nightmare Omens which correspond to the rewards they selected on each floor of a Sweet Dream. These omens come true in a Nightmare that can come for Hunters at any time. What this means is that the higher the floor of the Sweet Dream, the more dangers Hunters face in Nightmares.
Dream Interpretation
As the explore a dream, Hunters are going to get their hands on a new season item known as the Dream Talking. What happens is that when Hunters perform Dream Talking Interpretation, they get a dream base which has a Sweet Dream affix and a Nightmare affix. The original base affixes on a piece of gear are replaced when the dream base is recorded onto the gear.
Sweet Dream base affixes give powerful buffs like giving Hunters Legendary affixes which only appeared on Legendary gear when crafting gear. Nightmare base affixes meanwhile give negative affixes which may weaken the gear.
