Town of Salem 2: Face a New Challenge as the Coven has Taken Over

It's time to go return to the Town of Salem as things seem to have taken a turn for the worse with the Coven now taking over. Town of Salem 2 is now available on Steam and being offered at 10% off until September 2. In addition to the game, players can also buy the official soundtrack.

Town of Salem 2 divides players into two different teams. As Town members, the objective is to work with the team to obtain victory by identifying and them eliminating the opposition. This role comes with unique abilities that include revealing as an innocent, tracking down killers, or taking down those suspicious individuals. Meanwhile, as a member of the Coven, Apocalypse, or even Neutral factions, it's all about working from the shadows and stopping whatever the Town members are doing. In the case of the factions, abilities include blocking the abilities of the Town members, burning dead bodies, or even going on a killing rampage.

New Features

There are a lot of new features to look forward to in this game. For example, there are now scrolls available which can increase the chances of players getting their favorite role. However, cursed scrolls can reduce the chance for players to get roles that they don't like. Meanwhile, it's now possible to ban specific roles. In addition, players can now add their favorite game modifiers to come up with the perfect role list for the game.

New as well are the private custom lobbies where friends can invite friends through a simple six-letter code.

Making the gameplay experience is the improvement in the communication. That’s right! Communication in the game is now easier compared to the previous game. This is made possible with the ability to tag players, roles, and even keywords, in chat.

The highlight in Town of Salem 2 though would have to be the customization. Not only can players customize their character but even with pets along with the interior of their house. There’s no question that there’s no more control available than ever before.
