A new update has been released for Once Human with one of the highlights being the introduction of a feature. It's known as the Harvesters' Market and allows trading to be more convenient. This is available in Manibus, Evolution's Call, and The Way of Winter scenarios.

In a post, Starry Studio revealed that trading has long played a significant role when it comes to fostering social connections. This is because not only does it help players obtain new items but also allow them to develop friendships with other players that they may not have encountered.

The studios shared that trading has been one of the most popular activities ever since it was launched. In order to maximize exposures, players would usually place their Vending Machines out in Blackfell. However, this has resulted in lag, obstructions, and a host of other issues. This is mainly the reason why the development team made the decision to come with a dedicated trading zone which is the Harvesters' Market.

To make sure that any disruption is minimized, the Harvesters' Markets were placed in areas that had low player density. In these designated zones, players can put what are known as Special Vending Machines. So that a lot of players can be accommodated within this limited space, players are one Special Vending Machine.

Special Vending Machine

While it has the term "Special" in the name, it remains to be a Vending Machine. This means players still need to unlock it through the Memetic system. In addition, the Special Vending Machine can use the same skins as the standard Vending Machine and can even have its appearance customized.

The thing is, if a Special Vending Machine remains inactive for several days, it's going to be recalled with building materials being refunded to the player's Territory Terminal. When that Special Vending Machine is placed again, all previously listed items are still available for sale. For the sake of convenience, Special Vending Machines won't need to be connected to power and can be freely placed within the Harvesters' Market.

Once Human introduces players to an open-world and survival game where they get to explore an absorbing post-apocalyptic Earth overrun by an extraterrestrial entity known as Stardust. Combat is a core feature of the game as it offers exhilarating battles versus diverse enemies along with fights against powerful bosses from another realm. In addition to ensuring survival, the actions of the players in battle play a role in the welfare of other survivors.
