Trailer Released to Show New Features for Console Versions of Cuisineer

XSEED Games released a new trailer for Cuisineer which shows some of the exciting features that comes to the console version. First released for the PC back in 2023, the game is set to be launched for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch this January 28, 2025.

What are these new features? For starters, the new wardrobe feature should be great news to those who want to customize their character even further. Then there are the various festivities for everyone to join and enjoy. Players can also look forward to the new weapons and the new boosts. Finally, there's the different BGMs to listen to as they play the game. Watch the trailer here.

By the way, PC players need not worry. That's because all new content and new features are also being made available to this version when the console editions come out.

Digital pre-purchase is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch and the Xbox Series X/S. It's priced at $29.99. Meanwhile, the game is available for purchase for the PlayStation 5 digitally at launch.

There's also a physical Day One edition of Cuisineer available for pre-order at participating retailers and the Marvelous USA Online Store in North America. This is for the console versions. This edition has the game along with a soundtrack that features 37 charming songs. There's also the art book having more than 160 pages of illustrations and a kitchen towel that proves boba saves lives. The physical Day One edition is available for $49.99.

Cuisineer invites players to an extraordinary culinary journey that combines the realms of dining, adventuring, and gaming in truly enjoyable ways. It’s food-centered adventure game with players taking on the role of a character returning to their hometown of Paell. There they learn that their legacy, a family restaurant, has been closed and is in debt. To bring the restaurant back to life, it’s up to the players to attract new patrons and to do that they’ll need to dive into the world’s dungeons to collect ingredients and then use these items to prepare a bevy of exquisite dishes.

Cuisineer offers players a multifaceted experience with dungeons coming alive with their own ecosystem and beasts that include the likes of giant chickens, artillery shrimps, and even fire-breathing peppers. With these ingredients, it’s up to the players to create delectable dishes from more than 100 global recipes. There’s also a combat system which corresponds with the game’s food premise. It’s also a community-driven game with players needing to build relationships with the townsfolk of Paell who help with the progress and offer opportunities to complete unique quests.
