The second part of the winter update for Mabinogi is finally here. Arcana: Dark Arts introduces players to new Arcana talents along with powerful skills. There are also new improvements for everyone to enjoy.
Alchemic Sharpshooter
Two new Arcana talents are added with the new update and the first one is the Alchemic Sharpshooter. It combines Alchemy and Archery talents to result into that piercing elemental power. Some of the exclusive skills for this talent are:
- Ventus Howl: The flow of battle goes to your favor as you harness the power of the wind with one shot.
- Terra Scourge: When synergy is needed most, this skill performs necessary attacks simultaneously.
- Ignus Plume: Bolts of hot fire fly out and explode, burning everything on the battlefield.
Dark Diviner
The second Arcana talent is Dark Diviner. This one combine Magic and Chain Slash talents and turns it into a fusion of power. Some of the exclusive skills are:
- Thunderblight: Ideal skill for when you need to attack, move, and use various skills–all at the same time.
- Hexshroud: Block damage from magical opponents by sealing tricky enemies.
- Polar Vortex: In a moment of crisis, let this skill be the solution.
Better Experience
The new update also makes improvements on the Arcana Enhancement experience. This is made possible through an expanded Arcana Total Level Effect which unlocks an even higher upper stat limit for the character based on the overall level of Arcana (for a maximum level of 150). At level 150, the max critical cap is increased by 2%.
Through the new Arcana Growth, players forge the Scorching Crests needed to unlock the links of the new Arcana at the Enkindling Lectern in the Arcana Association Room.
The new update also features enchanting improvements where when players attempt an enchantment, they can choose a failure penalty in the UI window. Convenience and accessibility have also been improved to try enchanting any time.
Travel with Rowan
Finally, players can join the Erinn-Go-Round event where they get to travel with Rowan. To start the event players need to talk to Joy The Erinn-Go-Round tour guide and then register their main character. Completing the event has players earn valuable rewards. The event ends January 11.
