In case you haven't heard, Diablo IV is finally available on Steam. For those of you excited to play this title on the platform, that's not the only good news. That's because you also immediately get access to the second season of the game. It's time to get ready for a new round of fighting as the Season of Blood oozes across Sanctuary.

There's going to be a lot to look forward to like a new Season Journey, new Questline, and even Season Event. Keep a close watch as well for the Uber Endgame bosses which are sure to increase the different endgame activities. Another different thing is that beginning with this season, you now have the choice to skip the Campaign after completing the Missing Pieces quest. This means you can immediately jump to whatever Season of Blood is offering.

In Season of Blood, it is the activities of vampires that have caught your attention. You see, they previously targeted small villages and bit the necks of rather insignificant prey. However, their ambitions grew and not only became greedy but even sloppy. Magistrate Oren, a leader of a town that's being plagued by these bloodthirsty assailants, is now asking for your help to look in these murders. To survive in this vampire-infested underbelly, you'll need to help of the vampire hunter Erys. With her by your side, you'll be able to learn more about what the Dark Master is planning.

To start this new Questline, simply head on over to Ked Bardu and speak to Oren. Once you talk with him, he'll set you off on the Blood Money quest.

Now the enemies you meet in Season of Blood aren't your typical demons. To defeat them you’ll have to make use of their Vampiric Powers through the aid of new Pact Armor. It's not going to be easy since to use Vampiric Powers you'll need Potent Blood which can be obtained from fallen enemies. Once you learn a Vampiric Power, you can use Potent Blood and upgrade it to the next Level. Each power can be upgraded to a maximum of Level 3 and up to five powers can be equipped to your character at one time.
