The second dungeon pack of 2025 goes live in The Elder Scrolls Online on August 18. Dubbed as "Feast of Shadows," it brings with it two new dungeons known as Naj-Caldeesh and Black Gem Foundry. Today we'll take a quick look at them.
A Foundry Full of Foes
The entrance to the Black Gem Foundry is located in a cave in Western Solstice. However, the Foundry itself, which is a quarry and forge, lies deep within Molag Bal’s Oblivion realm. While the planar portal marks the work of nefarious hands, something much worse awaits in the foul pits of Coldharbour.
The dungeon has bosses wielding, or forged from, powerful soul magic. These bosses won't easily allow players to put a stop to their dire work. The arenas for Quarrymaster Saldezaar and the Black Gem Monstrosity for instance present very different field hazards to players. Players need to be spatially aware to mitigate and even survive certain attacks. The High Soulbinder Vykand meanwhile not only tests that awareness but also the attention and memory of the players.

Ruins and Ruination
Naj-Caldeesh is a lost Xanmeer that’s said to house a legendary power. An Argonain called Seekxilts has uncovered a hidden entrance only for Wuj-Laxul necromancers to storm in and overrun it. Naj-Caldeesh tells a unique story within the Seasons of the Worm Cult saga as players delve deeper into the unique Argonian presence on the island and the machinations of the necromantic cult.
Inside the dungeons lies the remote and mysterious Wuj-Laxul. However, they're not the only dangers that players need to keep an eye out. There are a lot of deadly traps and a wrong move could result in a scorching or slicing. That's not all since enemies can also trigger the traps. However, they may also be traps that can be helpful in certain situations.

The two dungeons open up on the same date as the release of a new update which makes cool improvements to mounts. Read about it here.
