Wayfinder: Compensation Packages to be Announced Soon

Good news to all players of Wayfinder! Airship Syndicate announced that they'll soon be revealing the compensation packages to be given. This is to serve as a remuneration to the bungled launch of the game in early access. The so-called package is to be granted to all players, regardless of whether they actually encountered issues when playing the game or not.

Given the high expectation the community in the release of the game, the early access launch was indeed a failure. There were problems in the log-in for example and one of the reasons cited was that there were more players who wanted to play the game than expected. Another of the issues encountered was on the monetization. A big concern, of course, was on the Founder's Pack with many players not getting the items promised to them.

The studio has apologized for the failure and assured everyone that they were going to continue working on to resolve the many issues. In post, the studio revealed that they've been doing some network optimizations behind the scenes. It looks like things are a little better now with the studio going as far as "inviting" all the early players to return and once again play the game.

With the different server related issues being addressed and slowly solved, the development team can now focus on making improvements to the game and its systems.

The game is set in Evenor with players getting to control the power of a Wayfinder. With this they get to use a wide range of abilities from arcane magic to lethal melee, and even mystical technology. It's up to the players to find which one to use based on their playstyle. There's an immersive world that's just waiting to be explored and adventures available for players to shape how they want.

On each hunt and expedition, there are new locations to discover along with new beasts and new materials. Players can also craft new weapons and gear to inlock new powerful Wayfinders. The game also invites players to make new friends through world events and then form the perfect team before taking on new expeditions.
