Wayfinder is finally out and now on Early Access. It's available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles as well as for the PC through Steam. The game is a love letter by studio Airship Syndicate to fast-paced MMOs and RPGs.
Through Early Access, the studio hopes to develop a strong foundation that can last for years even after the game launches next year and available free-to-play. Those who access the game in Early Access get to explore six location and collect six Wayfinders. Players also get to seek powerful bosses and may even get to craft 17 weapons.
Founder's Pack
That's not all since Early Access isn't simply being able to access the game. Players get to obtain exclusive rewards through the Founder’s Pack, available for purchase. These packs are offered in different tiers from Basic to Exalted with the higher the tier, the more exclusive rewards available. For the Exalted Pack, the top rewards is the Heroic Kyros, which is the first Heroic-level Wayfinder offered. Meanwhile, both Awakened Pack and Exalted Pack have the Highlands Strider Mount and Saddle. The Initiate Pack offers the Founder's Dye Set.
No matter which Founder's Pack players choose to but, they all contain a certain amount of Runesilver, which is the in-game currency. Get more details about the different Founder’s Packs here.
Gloom Break
The Early Access also offers Gloom Break: Founder’s Season One. This is the first of two seasons that's going to exclusive to those considered as founding players. It features an all-star voice cast that include the likes of Jennifer Hale (Mass Effect, Metroid Prime), Zeke Alton (Remnant II), JB Blanc (Darksiders, Apex Legends), and Steve Blum (Cowboy Bebop, God of War), to name a few.
What else can players expect for Gloom Break? For starters, they get to experience a battle pass that's not only more interactive but also friendly to players and packed with rewards. Not only that, but the battle pass also won’t expire once it's bought. Under the battle pass, players can gain XP and then earn Reward Tower Keys which can then be unlocked to access items. Overall, the Reward Tower is divided into Free, Paid, and Premium.
