Square Enix announced that it's the one-year anniversary of Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis. As part of this milestone celebration, players can enjoy a new in-game story event that's around Bahamut. They can also unlock the limited-time Anniversary Gear for the cast of iconic characters.
Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis was first released on mobile platforms back in September 2023. Then in December 2023 it became available for the PC. Since the original launch, the game has invited players to experience the classic elements that are present in the Final Fantasy VII timeline but in a new way.
As part of the celebration, everyone has the chance to get a new and exclusive Anniversary Gear for the likes of Aerith, Tifa, Yuffie, and of course, Cloud. The gear is themed around what can be described as one of the most iconic summons of the series which is Bahamut. Then once the heroes are all geared up and ready, then it's time to take on the new Bahamut-themed story event titled as "The Cetra's Story: Birth of the Destroyer."
