A new update is now live in Once Human and marks the start of Prismverse's Clash. This PvP scenario sees a faction battle between Rosetta and Mayfly. Players can use combat, construction, and all available strategies for them to capture and secure Prism Deviations to win the scenario for their faction.
To start the scenario, players can choose from either of the factions mentioned and then fight for Prism Deviations in the contest area. Prism Deviations can be obtained through Public Crisis Events (guaranteed), wilderness gathering (low chance), or fishing (low chance).
In contest areas, players get to use securement facilities to secure Prism Deviations. Once the securement fails, they can then use the “Prism Energy” feature on the map to and the Deviation.
Faction Deviations of different levels have different amounts of Prism Energy. By making use of the securement units, players can secure Prism Deviations and gather Prism Energy for their faction. The faction that has the highest Prism Energy gets to win the scenario.
By the way for this scenario, entering the contest area automatically activates faction PvP mode. Players should be happy to know that they won't lose gear upon death during PvP in the wilderness. Meanwhile, joining Public Crisis Events within the scenario gives players extra mod loot crates with the “Battlefield” suffix.
Another thing to remember is that the Prismverse's Clash scenario introduces unique Memetic Specializations. Players from both factions can randomly obtain Memetic Specializations from the opposing faction.
Faction Reward
At the end of each phase, players receive faction firework rewards based on their rankings. Faction fireworks can summon a faction loot crate which can then be shared with other members of the same faction. In addition, once a certain amount of Prism Energy is collected, the whole faction can earn Starchrom rewards.
It goes with saying that top performers in the final phase earn rare faction avatar sets.
