Wintry weather has finally settled in Final Fantasy XIV and that means one thing! It's time once again to prepare for the Starlight Celebration. This year the event begins December 16 and runs all the way to December 31.
To join, all players need to do is start the "Reach for the Stalls" quest. This can be done by speaking to Amh Garanjy over in Old Gridania. By the way, players need to be at least Level 15 to be part of the event.
There are five items available as rewards for this event. The first is the Starlight Stalls Barding. This suit of chocobo armor has been designed and crafted by none other than the Saint of Nymeia himself. This is to help spread warmth and cheer at the Starlight Stalls.
Another item up for grabs is the Starlight Kinderpunsch. This steaming hot spiced beverage is served in a decorative mug and the perfect pick-me-up for the cold and weary. It can't be retrieved once used and can be used for a maximum of 10 times. When used, benefits include:
- Piety Bonus: +4% (Max 10)
- VIT Bonus: +5% (Max 12)
- Gear Durability Bonus: +3
- EXP Bonus: +3%
- Duration: 30m
Players can look forward to the Starlight Mug Tower. Then there's the Festive Starlight Celebration Advertisement which is a hand-painted notice that advertises the Starlight Celebration of a year gone by. Finally, there's the Winter's Warm Boughs Orchestrion Roll which players can add to their orchestrion list.
By the way, Patch 7.15 has been released which you can read more about here.
