Another War

Another War is a RPG created by Polish developers. It takes place during World War II, the protagonist being a resistance fighter in the German-occupied territories. The player will visit France, Germany, Yugoslavia, USSR, and Iceland during the course of the game.

The game’s interface is modeled after classic isometric RPGs, closely resembling that of Baldur’s Gate. Experience points are earned by defeating enemies (in real-time combat) and completing quests. The game is rather heavy on text, and most conversations allow the player to choose between different answers and/or actions. The game has 2D rendered graphics in an isometric view with pre-rendered characters. The game features many allusions to classic books and movies, such as Raiders of the Lost Ark, Allo, Allo, Catch-22, Saving Private Ryan, and The Dirty Dozen amongst others.
