Aquarian Age: Tokyo Wars is a video game adaptation of the trading card game Aquarian Wars, and is largely faithful to that game’s rules. The story mode features various fully voiced characters, and is told in the visual novel format; battles in the game are 3-versus-3 affairs, and gameplay by up to 5 players is supported through the Multitap peripheral.
The game is particularly notable for featuring an appearance by Di Gi Charat, one of the mascots of developer Broccoli’s retail chain store, Gamers.
