Askgear

Askgear is a JRPG with many gameplay elements typical of the genre such as a turn-based battle system, multiple characters that join the player’s party, overhead-view towns and dungeons, shops, quests, puzzles, and treasures.

Protagonist Yua lived with family friend Memoria Oblivion until she left to persue her dream of becoming an archeologist. Months later while traveling alone, he unexpectedly bumps into her again, only she does not recognize him: Memoria has amnesia. However she also carries an Askgear, a device created by an ancient, advanced civilization which enhances the mental and physical abilities of the person that can connect to it. Yua believes that the Askgear, or other such artifacts that are found in ruins across the land, could be the key to restoring Memoria’s lost memories. They begin a quest to search for answers.
