Bronze Dragon: Conquest of Infinity is a text-based RPG for the Apple II.

Designed as an open ended text-based RPG, the original game came with a large module called Seekers of the Storm, as well as smaller individual scenarios called castles. All commands are via menu structures. From the main menu, the player can create a character, gather a party, construct a castle, or start and adventure. The player can also enter Dragon Village, where they can stock and resupply their characters.

Characters can be Human, Elf, Dwarf, or Halfling.  There are 5 classes: Knight, Assassin, ninja, Elder, and Wizard.  Players have limited hit points, bronze pieces, and statistics of Strength, Agility, Intelligence, Constitution, and Endurance.

In Dragon Village, the player can purchase equipment, and learn new skills and spells.  They can also receive healing, resurrection, store money at the bank, and visit the local pub.

In combat, each player and enemy take turns attacking, advancing, retreating, searching, using inventory items, changing equipment, or fleeing from combat.  The player can search for traps, secret passageways, or search enemy corpses while in combat. The player must be within appropriate range to strike an enemy, and their are ranged and close combat weapons.  For each attack, the player rolls a number that must be above the enemy’s defense to score a hit.  There are weapon and agility bonuses for each attack.
