A young adventurer arrives at the borderlands of his fantasy world where the Imperial Army is battling monster hordes ravaging the country side. He quickly joins the army and, from this point forward, is constantly on duty to the local army commander who is not only missing his former personal assistant, but a whole legion of his soldiers at the moment. Little does the young man know that the search for his forerunner and the missing legion shall have him uncover the secret behind all this monster madness.
Dark Tower Conspiracy is an action-RPG developed in Russia that, in many ways, reminds of the genre classic Diablo, although using a fully rotational 3D engine and featuring some additional gameplay elements.
As in Diablo the player gets to choose between three character classes, namely warrior, ranger and mage. Following this initial decision the character can be equipped with the usual weapon and armor items with all the magic prefixes and suffixes we’ve seen before. Furthermore, around 50 skills and spells can be learned. Items and spells can be put into quick slots for easy access, weapons and armor have a durability and must be repaired occasionally.
Additionally to this basic gameplay, the player can hire up to three mercenaries that can be assigned different tactics, can revisit already cleared levels at night to find them populated with a new horde of tougher monsters, and can summon monsters to fight the difficult battles for him.
