Dungeon Empires

Dungeon Empires is an massively-multiplayer online game and a turn-based tactical RPG with a fantasy theme. Players have the ability to create their own dungeons with enemies and traps as challenges for other players. When the invading heroes fall the player earns experience, gold and equipment, also making the dungeon famous. If it gets plundered however, it loses fame. Dungeon masters have the ability to conjure and train monsters.

At the start of the game a custom character can be created with some customization for appearance and a specialization based either on strength, dexterity or magic. While exploring another player’s dungeon the environment is presented in 3D and shown from a behind view, with RPG-like dungeon-crawling gameplay. The exploring is in real-time but encounters are played as turn-based battles.
