Game Details

Dungeon Hunter II is an action RPG that takes place 25 years after the events of the original Dungeon Hunter. As one of the sons of the immortal king, the player returns to the lands of Gothicus which once again has fallen into darkness. The game starts out in a swamp prison from which the player has to escape and then travel across the country in an attempt to save the world. Like in its predecessor there are three classes (warrior, rogue and mage) but here each has two specializations that can be choosen after reaching level ten.

The game’s gameplay works the same as in the original game with the player exploring the world from a bird’s eye perspective while battling enemies of all kinds. The game world is larger and more open with more areas, quests and enemies. The RPG system works the same with character points being earned when levelling up and the distributed into four attributes: strength, dexterity, endurance and energy. There are also skill points which are used to unlock new special abilities such as attacks. The fairies that accompany the player throughout the game also remains and can be used for magical attacks.

In addition to the single player campaign, there is also a multiplayer mode that can be played online or locally over Bluetooth or local wireless. It’s a co-operative mode where up to four players can complete the campaign together.
