This version of Dungeon Hunter 3, designed for feature phones, is a basic action RPG in which the brother of king Edward of Gothicus must rid the land of corruption, exploring several areas and fighting several types of enemies, two of the weakest ones constantly respawning, and eventually facing the final boss. The character’s starting class can be chosen between Warrior, Rogue and Mage, these later changing to Crusader, Deathwalker and, respectively, Illusionist. NPCs found standing along the way offer some information and quests when approached, while other quests are triggered simply by reaching certain locations. Once the teleporter leading out of an area is used, it is impossible to return.

The character’s class determines the available weapons and skills, and the starting attributes. Each class has access to three skills, unlocked at levels 1, 5 and 15, but only two may be available at any one time, the player choosing which to bind to keys * and 0, the # key being used for potions. At each level up, two points are gained, to be distributed among the four attributes, these attributes and the equipment determining the character’s other stats. Gold and items may be dropped by some killed enemies or found in vases or chests, though some chests may also be trapped. Shopkeepers can also be found along the way, all of them carrying a complete inventory, allowing the purchase of any item of armor available in the game, as well as potions and the weapons the character may use, and they will also purchase unneeded equipment at half price.
