This omnibus bundle folds in the content from the 1995 gamebook Cities of Gold and Glory, integrating it with the content from the prior Fabled Lands RPG gamebook conversion The War Torn Kingdom, doubling the territory available for players’ exploration and the creative encounters they may find therein (eg. struggles against the immortal wizard Estragon, or encounters with the Seven Fools in Castle Ravayne), not just in war-torn Sokara but now in magical Golnir, a land steeped in British folklore. Player statistics, skill checks, and inventory management remain implemented as in the prior installment.
