Players take control of four survivors who are stuck in a desolated metropolis and must scavenge for spare parts, tools, food, and weapons in order to survive and find a way out. Players must explore procedurally generated skyscrapers to salvage, loot, and craft gear in order to fight off the mysterious dreamers, who are zombielike creatures that shun the light. The game features individual skill trees, crafting recipes, spare parts, weapons, barricades, and more. Players must also repair an old, crashed helicopter on the rooftop in order to jump from rooftop to rooftop and escape the city. The Save the World Edition of the game will donate 10% of the proceeds to the International Rescue Committee for humanitarian aid in Yemen.
