Jewel of Arabia: Dreamers

Jewel of Arabia: Dreamers is an RPG with a classic design. It shares similarities with other Macintosh RPGs such as Spiderweb Software’s Exile series. The player creates a party of six characters and goes on adventures in a setting inspired by the stories of 1001 Nights.

Gameplay includes top-down exploration of the world and tactical turn-based combat in the style of the Gold Box games. Conversations with NPCs follow a keyword system where the player can type in words that NPCs will respond to. Character creation allows for some unusual additions to the party, such as a jinn or a pet monkey.
