Meridian 59: Vale of Sorrow

Following the success of Meridian 59, an early massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Meridian 59: Vale of Sorrow is an add-on that introduced new species like Luppoggs
and faeries, tough enemies that the player may encounter while wandering through the new lands (specially the magical forest) introduced to the already great landscape available from the original game. Following the increase in power of the creatures, Meridian 59: Vale of Sorrow also introduced new armors, and a new mechanic to deal with internet latency, a common problem at the time the game was released, making the installment of the expansion much more likely.
