Monster Sanctuary Deluxe Edition is an action-adventure game that combines Metroidvania-style exploration with strategic turn-based combat. Players take on the role of a Monster Keeper, tasked with collecting, evolving, and training 111 unique monsters from across the Sanctuary. As they explore the expansive lands, they must use their monsters’ unique skills to solve environmental puzzles and traverse the world. Combat is strategic and turn-based, requiring players to carefully order their attacks in order to deal maximum damage. The game also features online PvP battles, optional game modes such as Randomizer, Bravery, and Permadeath, and the ability to customize each monster’s skill tree.
