Muryaden is a French language top-down RPG for the Apple II.

Many centuries ago, an infamous archmage by the name of Mithgul moved to the island of Muryaden and created a vast complex to test the magical erotic arts.  His ultimate creation was the beauty stone Muryaden, which filled the holder with unlimited charisma and eternal manhood.

Tired of creating magical erotic artifacts, Mithgul focused his energies on breeding experiments between a variety of beasts, demons, and the human population of Muryaden.  An accident involving demon seed caused an explosion of lust within the nearby town of Bar-Calenlad, leading to a massive increase in its population within a few years.  Other survivors of this lust wave went on to found a city of trolls and a city of those who remained devout followers of Mithgul.

Played from a top-down perspective, the player must create a character from the choices of wizard, warrior, thief or priest.  Each character can have a specialty in vitality, magnetism, or perception, and the player can choose from a variety of races.

Towns are menu-based, and the player can buy new skills, armor, or equipment for their player.  In combat, the player and their combatant take turns striking each other in turn-based combat.  Monsters randomly appear as the player explores the overworld map.  The ultimate goal is to collect the stone of Muryaden, which has been lost within the great remains of Mithgul’s complex.
