Neverossa: Mille e una notte (2005)

In a world forsaken by the gods, one last goddess seed sprouts: thus is born the goddess Lilith. The player, Shiye, must help Lilith find her place in the world and prepare to guide and protect humanity. This Japanese-style role-playing game follows Shiye, Lilith and their allies throughout their journey. While the RPG portions play more or less in a traditional form, with overhead-view exploration and 3D turn-based battles, it’s made more unique via the life simulation elements. Lilith’s development and values depend on how the player treats her and how she’s raised over the course of the game, and depending on their actions she might become a benevolent goddess who will save the earth or a dark goddess who could wipe out humanity. There are six dozen different endings, all dependent on the player’s choices. Like Firedog’s previous games it also features romance elements, and the player is given the ability to romance one of various different female NPCs he meets over the course of the game.
