One More Dungeon 2 is a first-person shooter roguelike with procedurally generated levels and pixel-art graphics. The player takes on the role of a nameless adventure seeker, tasked with getting to the final level of the dungeon and destroying the obelisks that are being used by the forces of Evil to invade the world. The game features a variety of weapons, such as melee weapons, magic staffs, and antique artefacts, to fight through the hordes of enemies. Players can also explore a parallel universe with manually created locations and manage their sanity level, which is reduced by using artefacts. Additionally, the game offers a set of mutators that can be selected before the game starts and modify the gameplay.
