Rainblood: Town of Death is an RPG with turn-based combat and completely hand-drawn graphics.
Players take control of Soul The Dark Raider, an ex-assassin of the “Organization” who was cheated by his friends and is now treated as a traitor and wanted dead by his former allies. Soul is on a quest to locate Xuanyu the Tracker, now married to his former best friend Shang the Violent Death, who became the leader of the “Organization”. Soul’s journey takes him to Pang, a small but once-popular town within the borders of the Central Land, which is almost deserted due to a plague.
Apart from the assassins chasing the traitor, players will encounter a little girl, whose violent death took place before his eyes and whose laughter haunts him still… What awaits him is a plot even more complex than he could have imagined.
Players can restore Soul’s Killing Force, which serves as his MP, using items. The same items can be used to make Soul’s skills stronger. The skills Soul has can restore his health, inflict damage upon all enemies and help him evade enemy attacks and even counterattack.
